One word has had a big impact on Germany over the last week and a half: Stadtbild.
The 'cityscape' – or the way a city looks – has been at the top of the political agenda since Chancellor Friedrich Merz made controversial remarks that were widely viewed as racist.
Merz said there is "still a problem in the Stadtbild (cityscape)" and that's why the government is working to carry out more deportations. He then defended his comments and implied that young women in Germany felt threatened by foreigners.
Then, following several demonstrations, Merz said that his remarks were aimed at migrants without a right of residence.
We want to know what you think about all of this. Are you worried about growing anti-immigration rhetoric? Is there a problem with the Stadtbild? How do you think the situation in cities could be improved?
