A leak in a uranium enrichment plant in Gronau, Germany exposed an employee to a high level of radiation but posed no danger to people outside the facility, the firm operating the plant said on Friday.
The Federal Office for Radiation Protection (BfS) announced Friday they will take on a large operation to test radiation-exposure levels of both current and former workers at the atomic waste depot Asse near the town of Wolfenbüttel in Lower Saxony.
