A plane crashed at a major US air base in western Germany on Tuesday, injuring one person, local authorities said.
A spokeswoman at the base told AFP a pilot was receiving medical care after ejecting safely at the Spangdahlem Air Base in Rhineland-Palatinate state.
Firefighters and disaster response workers were deployed to the base, local civilian authorities said.
Neither local officials nor the base provided any more details.
Spangdahlem Air Base is home to the US air force's 52nd Fighter Wing, which provides airpower and support for NATO operations in Europe and beyond.
