I have friends who would "kill" for US citizenship. I met some Venezuelans a few months ago. They are trying to get the US Green Card through a immigrant investors programme. I know some Iranians who are trying to get US citizenship. And I am friends with Cubans who want into the US. It's a good place. And very different than what you see on the news. People shouldn't renounce because they are living abroad, unless they are bit-coin billionaires faced with a massive tax bill. Other than that - hold onto that citizenship. Pass it on to your children. They will thank you later.
