I would like to correct the paragraph referring to Germany’s vaccine numbers – “Germany on Wednesday administered a record 656,000 doses, according to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), more than even the fast-vaccinating UK has ever achieved, and 290,000 more than Germany managed on Tuesday. On Thursday it topped 700,000.” Here are a few of the instances in which the UK exceeded these figures – 18th March – 660,276, 19th March – 740,655 and 20th March – 844,285. It does no one any good to distort what can easily be found on official UK government websites and makes me question the accuracy of other data you provide. The website where this data can be found is https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/details/vaccinations.
