Former musical child prodigy and at one time the world’s fastest violinist, David Garrett, is accusing his ex-girlfriend of “blackmailing” him in an ongoing lawsuit worth $12 million.
Garrett’s ex-girlfriend, American porn star Ashley Youdan, accuses the Aachen native of having bizarre sexual fetishes as well as physically and mentally abusing her.
The adult film actress states in court documents seen by the New York Post that the Juilliard-trained musician forced her to drink his urine, tried to hire a sex slave and injured her during intercourse.
The suit claims that after Garrett forced Youdan - whose porn star name is Kendall Karson - to have rough sex with him, she ended up with a fractured rib.
The couple split up in February, and now Youdan’s lawyers say they have voice recordings, photos and medical records to support her case, the New York Post reports.
But now Garrett has fired back about the claims, telling German newspaper Die Welt exclusively that Youdan is “blackmailing” him.
“I am going public because I am being forced to. I have no other choice. She has made private things public against my will and I feel that she is blackmailing me,” the violinist said.
He explained that the two started dating in October 2014, admitting that he had hired her through an escort service which he liked to use, though he insisted that “sex is not the primary reason for these meetings”. On their first meeting, he “completely fell in love”.
The couple later lived together in New York, met each other’s parents in California and Germany, and even got engaged, but he broke up with her earlier this year after falling out of love with her - something that “she didn’t want”.
After the break-up he said he had offered to help support her financially so that she wouldn’t have to return to porn, but rather could train to be a real estate agent.
A few weeks later, Garrett started to get letters from her attorneys, demanding money.
Garrett went on to deny the claims of abuse, saying that her fractured rib was “simply a lie” and of the photo she has of the bruised rib: “Well I am not the person who caused this bruise.”
“My lawyers assume that this small bruise is self-inflicted,” he said. “I remember well the moment when she told me about it: We had had sex together the night before - she showed me the bruise and said that it had come from that. However she had also been working as a pole dancer the three nights prior to this. At the time I said to her: ‘Listen, that can't be true. Perhaps it came from the dancing’.”
He also called Youdan’s claims about having to drink his urine “absurd”.
“I have never been violent towards any woman. Everything that happened between us was consensual, without violence and without compulsion.”
