New in German cinemas: ‘Now You See Me’

Find movies playing in English in Germany with The Local’s cinema guide.
Killer cast, killer tricks, killer conceit – Now You See Me is part magic show, part caper film and all excitement. The movie starts when four magicians – played by Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco and Woody Harrelson – stage a magic show slash bank heist and redistribute the cash Robin Hood-style to members of the audience.
Pretty soon they’ve got an FBI agent (Mark Ruffalo), an Interpol agent (Mélanie Laurent) and a mysterious ex-magician (Morgan Freeman) on their heels. While reviews have been mixed, anyone in need of some fun, easygoing summer entertainment will not be disappointed.
