German retiree attacks neighbour with Samurai sword

A disturbed elderly man attacked his neighbour with a Samurai sword in Berlin, police reported on Monday.
The 69-year-old man apparently had an argument on Sunday evening with his 65-year-old neighbour, who called police after fighting off the ninja attack in Berlin’s Altglienicke district.
When authorities arrived at the scene, the man came after them with his sword, causing mild hand injuries for two officers. They were able to overpower the retiree, who suffered a head injury in the incident.
The man has since been committed to a psychiatric institution, police reported.
