German police searched more than 140 apartments for stolen electronic goods in a nationwide search for illegal ebay dealers, a police spokesperson told daily Berliner Morgenpost on Monday.

Some 30 of the apartments were in the capital city Berlin, where the state office of investigation is heading up the investigation.

Authorities believe the stolen goods, such as laptops, iPhones, and navigation systems are being sold internationally.
