Kanye West pop-up store opens in Kreuzberg, Berlin

US rapper Kanye West has launched a pop-up store in Berlin, which is expected to receive thousands of visitors during the two days it is open.

The temporary boutique will sell items from the musician's The Life of Pablo fashion line, created to complement his album of the same name.

The shop, at Alexandrinenstraße 118-121 in the Kreuzberg district, will be open between midday and 8pm on Friday and 10am-8pm on Saturday only, giving fans just two days to get their hands on the products. Its location was kept a closely-guarded secret until being revealed 24 hours before the launch.

Long queues and traffic delays around the area are expected, according to Berlin-based Tagesspiegel.

It is part of a global roll-out of 21 pop-up stores, selling the rapper's merchandise. Garments bought at previous pop-up stores have fetched several times their original asking price on eBay.
