Crown prince Frederik and crown princess Mary of Denmark pulled out the crowds on a visit to Hamburg on Tuesday morning at the head of a economic mission called 'Danish living.' The visit lasts three days and includes a stop-off in Munich.

Hundreds of well wishers waited outside the town hall to catch a site of the pair on Tuesday morning.

Town mayor Olaf Scholz was waiting to receive the couple in front of Hamburg's storied parliamentary building.

The stated goal of the visit is to put forward the case for a Danish lifestyle. The couple visit Munich on Wednesday.
