New in German cinemas: ‘I Give It a Year’

Find movies playing in English in Germany with The Local’s cinema guide.
Josh (Rafe Spall) and Nat (Rose Byrne) are hopelessly mismatched – but that doesn't stop them from getting married. When their whirlwind romance settles into newlywed life, the two must face the trials and tribulations of marriage while navigating their increasingly apparent incompatibilities. An uproarious comedy in classic romcom fashion, I Give It a Year is the directorial debut of Dan Mazer, best known for his writing work with Sacha Baron Cohen on Ali G and Borat. Though lighter and more carefree than his usual fare, Mazer’s latest project is just as sure to make you laugh.
