Leo Tolstoy wrote the novel. Tom Stoppard adapted the screenplay. Joe Wright directed the movie. And Keira Knightley plays the heroine. Intrigued yet? Then check out "Anna Karenina" in German cinemas this week.

The latest film version of the great Russian novel, starring, alongside Knightley, Jude Law, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Swedish newcomer Alicia Vikander. A gorgeous, highly stylized take on the tragic love story, Wright’s movie has met with both enthusiastic acclaim and enthusiastic disapproval – the point is, people are talking about it.
