Following the resignation of President Christian Wulff amid accusations of impropriety, The Local decided to look at post-war Germany's biggest political scandals.
This week’s list is dedicated to the seedier side of the country’s ruling elite.
From arms dealing and tax evasion, to silencing the media, German politicians have been involved in their fair share of dirty dealings, and it wasn’t hard to dig up 10 of the "best."
