Carnival of Cultures fills Berlin with dancers and music
Southern Berlin was filled with more than half a million people on Sunday as the annual Carnival of Cultures reached its climax with the parade, involving 4,800 performers from 70 nations.
The sun was shining in the city's Kreuzberg district as an estimated 700,000 visitors filled the streets to watch the dancers and floats wound through through streets.
Around 1,000 artists filled four stages during the weekend, offering world music, dance performances, percussion and interactive performances, while a range of food and drinks was also on offer.
