“Claudia will announce the name of her daughter next week, once the whole family has seen the newborn,” the spokeswoman added.

The baby was born by Caesarean section at Portland Hospital in London, where the family lives. Other celebrity mothers have also delivered their babies at the central London hospital, including actress Gwyneth Paltrow and Lilly Becker, wife of former tennis champion Boris Becker.

Schiffer has been married to British film producer Matthew Vaughn since 2002. The couple already had two children, 7-year-old Caspar and 5-year-old Clementine.

The supermodel gave an interview to Welt am Sonntag from her home in Notting Hill, London, shortly before the delivery of her third child. “I’m a lot more confident now, and that’s also because of my children and my husband," Schiffer said.

The German edition of fashion magazine Vogue has devoted its entire June edition to Schiffer – adorning the cover with a naked portrait just weeks before gave birth.

Story continues below…

Taken by Schiffer’s long-time confidant and booster, German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, the cover shot follows in a long tradition of heavily pregnant celebrity photos started by Demi Moore in 1991.

Well, I really don't understand why some of you insists on making verbal jabs. Every comment I have have made has been with the boundries of ethics and morality. Do you think that I'm the only man who has imagined dating an attrative women?

As I've said before, of all things I've discovered, the most disturbing thing I've come to realize is that a large portion of humanity is intellectually unqualified for this world.

Some of you prove my point.

By the way, no human can possibly exist without hope.

As I said, creepy. This is getting into Steven King territory.

I second Logic Guy.

This world is full of hypocrites.

The world is also full of idiots.

Now I am really intrigued.

In the past Logic Guy has posted to the effect that "logic defeats emotion".

So what is "hope" then? To me it says "emotion" louder than "logic".

While I agree there is nothing wrong with hoping to hook up with a specific beautiful woman, the creepy bit is how it is publicised ....

You're right. There is no correlation between hope and logic. Just as there is no correlation between logic and Logic Guy. I hope that someday he says something logical, but there is no logical basis for that hope.

Well, allow me to educate all listeners.

Emotions are defined as intense feelings. And hope is simply the belief that something is possible. Hope can either be intense or subtle. It is nonetheless absolutely essential, because it is reason(logic),to be, do and exist. Without it, you would be lost in a hopeless abyss and you would soon become extinct.

I have very high self-esteem and therefore I'm open and honest about everything. You guys should try it.

Logic Guy --

Is that why the dinosaurs became extinct -- because they had nol hope and got lost in the abyss?

I'm listening.

Logic is basically "it is" or "it isn't".

Hope is "it might be"

Pure logic cannot be reconciled with hope.

Wow, a German woman having children, I am trully amazed!
14:06 May 18, 2010 by Prufrock2010
Just about every woman I see in my neighborhood is pushing around a baby stroller with at least one little crumb-cruncher drooling behind. It's babyrama around here. The strollers actually pose more of a threat on the sidewalk than the arrogant m-fers on their goddamned bicycles, if you can imagine. They must be spiking the drinking water with fertility drugs.
