The Local presents Portnoy’s podcast
The Local is proud to announce the first podcast of Portnoy’s Stammtisch, our regular column about life in Germany.
Not wanting to be labelled a web fuddy-duddy, Portnoy is moving with the times. After entertaining readers with his insights about the quirks of living in Germany with his column, the Stammtisch now has its very own podcast.
For the first installment, Portnoy invites his pal Konrad Werner down to the pub to discuss Germany’s achievements and failures of the past year. And drink beer.

Since a good German Stammtisch is a place where pub regulars come to talk over the issues of the day, Portnoy welcomes a lively conversation in the comments area below.
