Car flies 50 metres into pylon
A 20-year-old man was badly injured after an accident early Sunday morning that sent his car flying 50 metres into an electricity pylon.
The accident took place in the Bavarian district of Traunstein, just kilometres away from the Austrian border and Salzburg.
The man’s car reportedly veered off the road and went over a small hill, that served as a ramp, propelling his car into the air. The vehicle flew past a house and crashed into the pylon, before rolling over several more times.
Rescuers had to cut the heavily-injured 20-year-old out of the car, which was completely destroyed.
