The weekend's perfect weather will turn changeable in the next couple of days, with showers and storms, according to the German weather service meteomedia.

Sunday will remain sunny and warm with temperatures up to 27 Celsius in some places, but a cold front will start to make itself felt from the west, resulting in thunderstorms.

Cloud cover will pull across the north west and even drop rain towards the end of the day, while the evening is expected to produce showers and storms across most of the country.

Monday will be rainy and cool, with some Bavarian areas even getting snow above 1,200 metres. The rest of the country will remain changeable with showers and some sunshine during the week with temperatures expected to be between 10 and 15 degrees Celsius.
