Sunny weather expected for holiday weekend

Early morning cloud cover on Thursday will disperse across most of Germany to begin what will likely be a sunny Easter holiday weekend.
Brief showers may fall on higher altitudes in the states of Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg, but the rest of the country will enjoy partly sunny conditions with a light breeze, weather service Meteomedia reported. Temperatures will range from 12 to 22 degrees Celsius (54 to 73 degrees Fahrenheit).
Residents can expect to welcome widespread sunshine while taking Friday off of work, though northern states can expect a few lazy clouds to float by with a slight chance of rain. Temperatures could reach as high as 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees Fahrenheit).
Saturday will also be sunny with very little chance of rain, Meteomedia said. Temperatures will remain warm.
