Woman discovers €50,000 cash in changing room

A 25 year-old woman discovered €50,000 in cash while using a changing room in a Mönchengladbach clothing store on Friday.

According to police, the money belonged to an Armenian retiree who planned to buy a car in the city.

The man was trying on a pair of pants before going to the auto dealership and left an envelope full of cash in the changing room. Shortly afterwards, the woman found the money and reported her find to the cashier.

The Armenian man returned to store to report his loss and upon learning that the cash had been turned in, gave the woman a €2,000 reward straight from his bundle of money.
