German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld has created a teddy bear version of himself for the famed stuffed animal manufacturer Steiff – complete with his trademark sunglasses, white shirt, and black tie.

“I'm only interested in myself and my mirror image,” the designer said in a statement released by the Baden-Württemberg family-owned company Steiff on Monday. The result of this attitude is a 40-centimetre tall teddy bear made in Lagerfeld's image, with the designer price of €1,000 ($1,467).

Steiff said the Lagerfeld teddy's costume is based on the designer's typical garb. The cut for the jeans and jacket are based on his Paris collection and the designer watched over the bear's fittings personally.
