The French company delivered to Europe ,the meat did not come from France but from the east of Europe .
There are possibilities that it is donkey as well as horse and may be connected to the flood of horses and donkeys being slaughtered in Romania following a law being enforced banning horse/donkey carts from the roads (I kid you not ).
German bury your head in the sand tactics again.
Oh, I am outraged! Horse/donkey carts are banned from national and European roads in Romania? You don't say! So does that mean they can use only village roads? How can that be possible?
I am curious who launched the rumour that the respective law was only recently enforced. Could it be the French food-industry officials? Or directly the French company involved, confronted with the fact that somebody in the industry could never take horse meat for beef?

P.S. I'm not a American hater but no fan of McDonalds either.

With only 3-4 billion and falling who have to pay for it based on the low birth rates. No thanks. Anyway. We have two types of teeth in our mouths. incisors (for meat) as well as molars (for salads) I'd say a balanced approach is best.
