Rosenmontag parades mark Karneval climax

Rosenmontag, the climax of Germany's Karneval celebrations, kicked off in the Rhineland on Monday morning, with parades, music, fancy dress and free-flowing beer.

As every year, themes of irreverent political satire dominated the parade, with Chancellor Angela Merkel as the favoured muse for float artists. One depicted the German leader as a mother sow with piglets painted with the flags of EU countries suckling from her multiple teats.
In Düsseldorf, Merkel was paraded through the streets with a Hitler-esque moustache being drawn on by a Greek.
Karneval signals the beginning of the Lent season and takes place every year at the beginning of February when cities up and down the Rhineland are granted a long weekend to celebrate.

This sort of carry on is of a low intelligence and is wearing very thin with many. If that is all one can come up with in order to build an argument to link anyone as a Nazie or a Hitler then you are not very smart at all.
Sadly lacking in wit and satire aren't you , it is a reference to the Greek demonstrations last year when Merky visited that country.
