Your comments about this article:
I find Germans especially fond of arguing, many people elsewhere would rather have a fist fight than argue. On the few occasions I have had an argument with a local or two and they just keep running their mouth until you move forward into their personal space, then they say "why are you getting aggressive?
Because some non-Germans also fear a fist fight, and therefore prefer the use knifes.
Also to combine your experience with this crime is quite remarkable.
'too much cheap vodka' instead of 'hitler'
You deliver a nice example.Would a German accuse a Migrant of his poor knowledge of the german language.
They would call him a racist and xenophobic and in the worst case even,he would get a knife between his ribs for his statement.
In addition, "K-Pax" has also Internet
Having said that many cities around the globe have the same type of problems luckily the issue of guns is not so prevalent .
Condolences to the family it is a nightmare I would not wish on anyone .
And raandy, I am also non-german and I do not think that germans like to argue. And nobody can argue alone, there must be a second person adding to the arguement. So if you do not wanna argue or discuss, just don't do it.
Arguing is a form of aggression and to argue with the wrong people can result in a negative experience, glad to hear all your experiences have been positive, most of mine have also.
I think the deceased should have heeded your advice.
Are you *** kidding me?? A young man was brutally murdered and the second one also almost died!! He was a quiet and friendly young man. The other student that survived the stabbing is my classmate from Stuttgart! If you don´t know the people, stop talking b****t about them! I hope you have no other major problems in your life!!!
I am also a student from the MHMK in Stuttgart. I am in California for studying abroad. We are all very shocked about the happenings. Condolences to the family Heinrich.
And by the way,@ freechoice:
Education is not your strenght, isn´t it? HITLER WAS AUSTRIAN!!
These 20 year old germans got into some type of verbal confrontation with the younger Irish, it would seem to me that it was more than just an argument, these teenagers left most likely after being intimidated or laughed at ,or something othere.it was, but more than just a simple confrontation as they had lots of time to think about what was said and happened, I think in most cases people become less angry with time not more. this makes me think there is a lot more here than is being told, these teenagers returned and killed this man brutally and injured the other.
I don't think it was over Hitler, there was a lot more here than we know.
You have never lived here I assume .
Well , I will try and solve my other problems one at a time over the upcoming decade, you can't mak a silver purse out of a sows ear.-:)
The comment with Hitler was not dedicated to you. And I didn´t want to be rude. But this happening is unbelievable. No, I never lived there... I think both sides are not innocent but is it usual or allowed for a 16 year old to be on the streets at this time at night? What must be wrong in the heads of the locals to kill someone because of a trivial matter? (They just were not allowed to join the party) If that is normal there, I am happy that I never have to live there. That´s ill.
I have come across this sort of loutish behaviour very often in Berlin and one only has to read the news in Germany to see how often this happens here. In any city or large town you will find trouble if you look for it. There is no sense in finger pointing unless all the facts of this case are known. Sympathies and condolences to the family,
