Airport worker fired for filming women on the toilet

A Frankfurt Airport employee has been fired after being caught secretly filming women in the public toilets, a media report said Wednesday.

The 50-year-old driver for the airport’s transport operator Fraport allegedly spied on thousands of women with two miniature cameras stowed behind toilet paper rolls, daily Bild reported.

Thomas L. used motion-sensor cameras that filmed the intimate activities of his victims for two minutes each, then periodically collected the data cards and uploaded the film onto his home computer.

He did this for at least three weeks before one of the cameras fell at the feet of a 42-year-old woman when she picked up a replacement roll of toilet paper, the paper reported.

Airport security confiscated the cameras and immediately discovered footage of Thomas L. as he was secretly installing one.

Police later stormed his apartment, taking his computer, cameras and memory cards. All of the bathrooms at the country’s largest airport have also been searched for further cameras.

“One can hardly describe what kind of affect something like this has on the women who are victims,” police spokesman Alexander Kießling told the paper. “It can lead to significant trauma.”

Officers are investigating whether the suspect disseminated the films.

Fraport fired Thomas L., but has asked other employees to sign an agreement not to talk about the scandal.

The Airport worker was probably supplied with loo role cams by an un-named politician (earlier article).

Someone obviously pulled the chain on this loocam scam.

Well, if you can "Imagine" seeing a naked woman, then simply go out and find a wife, or at least a girlfriend. As a devout Christian, I will say that it's better that you commit fornication, which is violation of religious law, than to break a civil law.

Immorality such as porn, child abuse and rape could all be solve with the help of a good psychologist.

Human life really should be easy.

@Logic Guy, the age of consent in the Vatican City is 12 years old, go figure!

Obviously this guy had some issues, but I can't see how this would lead to "significant trauma" for the "victims", a claim for damages from the Airport authority might be coming I guess.

Whats all the fuss? Either this guy has some real mental problems or he wanted to make a bit of cash on the side. Jail without the publicity is the right place for him.

@moistvelvet, so how do the women prove their claim for damages to the airport authorities? Show 'em their bum so they can match it up with the ones on the video clips?

Just sayin'...

In May 2009 I was flying from Frankfurt to Tel Aviv with a Catholic church group. There is a separate plexiglass security enclosure for that flight with two lines where one man and one woman are inspected while the other passengers wait outside. The woman held the 'wand'correctly in her right hand and suddenly put her left hand on my right breast. When I returned home I emailed a complaint to Lufthansa but did not get any response. Maybe the airport adminstration should be more careful about who is hired.
