"Circus organisers said the tigers did not mean to injure the man but were instead playing with him."
First of all, unless you weigh 200 pounds and happen to have been born with sharp teeth and claws, you're simply out of your league when "playing" with inherently lethal white tigers... (and I hope somebody is checking "Karim's" cage for explosives and Jihadi literature...damn terrorist felines)!
Oh well....

("assistant head of the zoo": kudos for being a bad-ass!)
A person has been injured and her colleague tried his best to help, we can argue about what happened and the type of safety regulations used but one should not sit behind some fake name and make fun and insult injured people.
If you think being attacked by a 200 pound tiger is funny than at least be courageous enough to show your real name. Be a Hero
(The fact that "an assistant head of the zoo, who was working close by, managed to force the tiger into a cage and get the door shut" amazes me. That guy was either very well trained, very brave, or very stupid...or all of the above)!!!
