Erotic farm girls calendar aims to make agriculture alluring

Hoping to make working in agriculture more attractive to younger Germans, a Bavarian farming association has presented the latest edition of a calendar showing farm girls in erotic poses.

The 2010 Young Farm Girls Calendar is meant to be “an homage to all the young women farmers in Germany who support agricultural work in a self-confident and fun manner,” according to the website of the Association of Young Bavarian Farmers.

Inspired by a similar rural pinup calendar started in neighbouring Austria in 2001, the group has expanded beyond using only comely Bavarian lasses for a tribute to pan-German pastoral beauty.

Click here for a photo gallery of the calendar.

“We want to present young farmers as modern and open-minded entrepreneurs and do away with the antiquated image and do away with preconceptions,” said Elisabeth Köstinger, the chairwoman of Association of Young Austrian Farmers, in a statement.

The calendar shows scantily clad women posing in various bucolic or farmland landscapes. For example, Ms July stands in a field of wheat sporting pigtails and a corset with a tractor in the distance, while Ms September attends to cider vats wearing a gossamer nightshirt.

"pan-German pastoral beauty"...there's a mouthful.

Related thread starting back in 2005: Bavarian farmgirls calendar

Amusingly, most of the girls involved in previous years have only a very vague connection with anything even remotely agricultural. For example, I recall reading about one of the "farm girls" whose uncle owned a farm and prior to the model shoot the closest she'd come to it was visits as a young child.

....now that would be an incentive to go visit the country cousins if those were the quslity of neighbours!!

That's an erotic pose? They've certainly got more imagination than me.

Come on Alex, if you're going to be a sexist pig, at least get the nomenclature right:

Hoes for hos.
11:41 October 20, 2009 by Keydeck
Q. Why did the young 'farm-girl' pose for a calendar with her nipples on display?

A. Because she kneaded the dough.

I'll get me coat.

Hope there are some pictures of girls with a hand stuck up a cow's arse. Not really that erotic, but there are few things funnier in life that somebody with their hand up a cow's arse. Oooh, or a farm girl castrating some young sheep. That'd be brilliant.
13:03 October 20, 2009 by alexdodo
I can't believe you missed out hot scantily clad girls inseminating turkeys through straws.

If that is erotic posing, give me the original "Calender Girls" any time.

"Every German farm girl I talked to or seen always smell like cow dung"

Oh yeah? What kind of German farm girls have you seen in Kentucky hillbilly?
15:27 October 20, 2009 by finanzdoktor
Erotic pose, not. But, since April is such a fine month, will have to remain true to it. Or, her. Although, December did look like a nice way to end the year.

BTW, Heinrich, what did you expect? For them to smile like lilies????

Ich glaube deine Nase ist arrogant.

Bavaria & Austria are one and the same, oder? Both full of beer drinking, knee-slapping yodelers who dress and talk funny.
19:13 October 20, 2009 by katekatekoala
Keydeck very kindly pointed me in the direction of the Bavarian men calendar on the photographer's website. Some of them are pretty darn lecker-lookin'.

Now why would anybody go into a profession/line of work where the costs to produce the final product costs more than you can possible sell it for on the open market......

Bottom line there is no money in it. In farming that is.

In calenders there is money to made.
02:07 October 21, 2009 by delvek
Thanks for the good chuckle Keydeck.

As for the calender, I am happy to see my birthday month representing well ... Go December!

In 1979 I dated the daughter of a pig farmer in Northern Germany, glad to see the farm girls are as beautiful as their Mothers were 30 years ago!
