There is no end to this conflict. How many world leaders have tried to broker a peace deal, all have failed.

Hamas's right of return is mute , there is nothing to return to. The Israel's have torn their homes down and built new habitats.

The last invasion into Gaza ,resulted in deaths between 1,166 and 1,417 Palestinian and 13 Israeli deaths 4 of those was from friendly fire.

How many innocent children and non combatants will die this time. The last incursion did not stop the rocket fire into Israel and it is doubtful this incursion will either. They just keep spreading hate amongst the new generation,with their high tech weapons.

If those in Gaza can't accept this reality, then they lose. Israel is NOT going any where and the Palestinians need to accept this and reject radical Islam and those "friends" that keep pushing them to fight. This goes hand in hand with Islam needing to get over that infidels occupy a portion of land in the heart of their religious empire. There are no good guys in this - but there is a reality and until the reality of the existence of Israel (and it's right to live without rockets raining down on her) is acknowledged, the Palestinians will live in misery.

Indeed, wise up! There has never been, nor ever will be, a state called Palestine. It's imaginary like Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. The Palestinians were dispossessed and were fighting for their rights long before "Islamists" were in power in Egypt or Iran. Actually the Palestinians and Israelis DID make peace - they were the Oslo accords and were sabotaged by the far Right in Israel. This latest brutality was triggered by the murder of Hamas's Jabari who had just received documents relating to a permanent truce with the Israelis. The Israeli Right dont want peace, because then they may be compelled to hand back some of the land they stole.

In one news article Hamas fires rocket into the holy city of Israel. There is nothing holy about Israel especially with a leader like Netanyahu.

Merkel to me sounds like a puppet because you have a small faction of Hamas firing Rocket into Tel Aviv landing on the outskirts with the retaliation of rocket flattening the Hamas headquarters injuring hundreds of civilians. And yet Israelites and Palestinians are the same people. I say get rid of Netanyahu and have a more peace loving Israeli leader. It is a brink of a civil war.
