Two women assaulted at Munich Oktoberfest

Two women were attacked and sexually assaulted at or near the Munich Oktoberfest over the first few days of the annual beer festival.

As they walked across a grassy area near the festival grounds, she stopped because her feet hurt. The man then pushed her over and raped her, the paper reports, before the victim was able to flee.
Shortly before 1 a.m. on Tuesday, another woman was attacked while going to the bathroom in the bushes on the grounds of the Oktoberfest, the paper reports. Three young men came upon the 21-year-old woman, pushed her to the ground, and ripped off her tights.
The woman fought back, kicking, and was able to stand up and run off, according to the paper. The three unknown assailants followed her for a while before giving up.
Police are advising women to be cautious of new acquaintances and to act confidently. In the event of an attack, they should also fight back with all that they have, talk to any possible witnesses, and ask for help.
There was no advice issued for men to not attack people.

Second, "There was no advice issued for men to not attack people" Is this supposed to be funny or is the writer really so absent minded? Of course we have to tell every man that they should not go around raping women...just in case they forgot. Sorry but most men really do not need that reminder and those who do need it...well they really don't either because they will do it anyway.

If you leave out with someone you have never met and advertise you can't get to the Central train station you are asking for trouble. If a woman goes and pees in the bushes at 1AM with that many people around you are asking for trouble.
