Elected surgery that changes a persons looks for better or worse should be very carefully scrutinized and researched. The doctors qualifications and reviews need to be made available to the prospective patient by law. Insurance firms need to approve the process and the doctor before going under the knife or in the case of self payment the ministry of health could review and give the individual all the pertinent available information concerning complaints or litigation against the surgeon. Before allowing the dissatisfied individual whether botched due to malpractice or not as described to receive public compensation.
Compensation in the form of money will not reverse the alterations made to someones appearance, due diligence prior to the surgery should reduce the number of negative incidences.
Having minimal knowledge of how the medical system works,it would be nice to read some other good suggestions on ways to improve this problem for those people desiring elected surgery.

So at least by putting the age up to 18, these women might develop some real internal happiness and laugh off the idea of breast enlargement they had when they were younger. But then again the culture of our youth has such a disposition to following a dream of fame and fortune, is anyone really surprised about what young people want to do with their bodies?
Umm, YES.. didn't you see the HBO special on their invention with David Schwimmer as the Jewish doctor from California, who was eventually trading them to strippers for sex after he plied them with cocaine? Fascinating stuff!
