Lyndon LaRouche is a lot of things, but he is NOT a right winger. I am so sick of hearing the "right wing extremist" card pulled out by the media when referring to anyone who is a nut job. LaRouche has run multiple times for president in the US as a democrat. He also was a leader of the US Labor Party - a party strongly against capitalism. He is also strongly in favor of nationalizing banks and other industries. You would have to be a completely ignorant fool to equate someone with these positions as being anything even close to "right wing". If anything, these positions are more in line with fascism/nazism, which is neither right nor left wing. But I guess that knee jerk ideologues never let facts get in their way.
True
He once claimed that the Beatles were not a band but a psychological warfare team created by the jewish controlled british secret service to influence young minds. ;-D
Also loved his idea to built thousands of swimming nuclear power plants to de-salt ocean water in order to fight drinking water shortages in the world.
After the first little "incident" those poor people in the affected regions would propably need no light for going to the toilet at night any longer. ROFL
But afterall those upcoming water shortages are anyway doubtful as that whole global warming thing, according to LaRouche, was invented by the Bush-Cheney administration to distract the world from the Iraq invasion. :-D
What does is matter if he's from the political right or left if he is clearly buts and would be better off in a mental asylum. LOL
Someone like him would really draw no attention on himself inside there with so many kindred spirits around him. :-D
wxman, if you don't want to end up coming across like an idiot for the rest of your life, try listening to people like So36, instead of spouting your kneejerk madness at every oppurtunity. Finally, pick up a book before you get the impetus to speak or write about sh#t you don't understand.
The fact of the matter is that they were fascists, a completely different animal when looking at the right/left paradigm. They were vehemently against communism, this is true. However they were also just as against capitalism - the same capitalism that those on the right strongly advocate.
Bottom line is that fascism is fascism. It is not exclusive to the right or to the left.
I think something confusing alot of people is the individualist vs. collectivist nature of politics, this is that other dimension that can be stacked atop the whole spectrum: left-right (liberal society or traditional), autocratic-libertarian (one guy in charge vs. everybody in charge), individualist-collectivist (for the benefit of).
The NSDAP was a rightist, autocratic, and collectivistic political movement.
The police just "came up with" the conclusion of suicide.
Forensic experts who have worked for Scotland Yard and London's Met Police--Paul Canning and Terence Merston--have examined the photos of Duggan's death and have testified that he could not have died in the way the German police claim.
As for LaRouche? He's a poisonous old man--someone I have known personally for over 30 years--a sociopath, a malignant narcissist, and filled with venom.
All this claptrap over whether he's left or right is irrelevant--he has been on the left, and he has been on the right, but in considering the Jeremiah Duggan case, just remember that Jeremiah is not the only person to die because of association with LaRouche.
Just start googling LaRouche and LaRouche Youth Movement, and your hair will stand on end.
Their principal base is the United States; their organizations in Germany and other European countries are smaller, dependent on $$ from the U.S. organization.
The German organization--the one on the hotseat over Duggan's death--is run by LaRouche's wife Helga Zepp LaRouche, a German national and perennial candidate for Chancellor, etc.
The Nazi's were a right-wing group. This is not even something debated by political scholars, arguing that they aren't would be equivalent to arguing that the communists weren't left-wing. Take another puff off the pipe though, seems to make you feel good about yourself. Believe any old thing you want to believe as long as it makes you feel good, right?
the political spectrometer is multimodal there are several axes on which one evaluates political movements.
left-right or progressive vs. conservative
authoritarian-libertarian or centralized vs. decentralized
individualist-collectivist
What's more all of these dimensions are defined by the individual histories of those that implement them.
The nazi party was conservative in the sense that they wanted to conserve what they saw as the better aspects of monarchism. It is no mistake that they alligned themselves with royalists in München and the Papal authority in Rome.
The movement that you say your apart of is seemingly American rightest libertarian individualism. Individualism and libertarianism, can be leftist or rightest (e.g. see anarchism). The U.S. has a special history with regards individualism and both the left and right in the U.S. have inputs to that. But, of course this is just one way of concieving of politics, though it is the conventional knowledge or our era.
I made no ad hominem attack towards you. I told you to get a clue and read a book. Even Reagan and Thatcher agree with me. I figure, based on the fact that you don't know about these simple universal ways of concieving of politics that you are not well read on the subject, if you fancy that you are, you may want to check up on the authors that you read.
LaRouche is neither right or left, he is the Anti-Fascist. He is a proponent of the actual Hamiltonian American System of Economics, hated by the British Monarchy, and all such Imperialist monsters. There is no one on the planet who has fought fascism harder and smarter than LaRouche.
As for anti-Semitism, I am Jewish and have known LaRouche for over 30 years and there is not a racist bone in his body, nor is there anything to substantiate the plain old lies told by this article-all that crap about LaRouche being anti-Semitic, Russian, etc.-the only one you have right is his correct identification as the British as the enemy of mankind-and he doesn't mean the British people or nation-he means that ugly evil old Queen and her sinister consort Prince Philip, who has said repeatedly he wishes to be reincarnated as a "deadly disease" in order to reduce the human population! What a sick SOB!
Anybody who has spoken with members of LaRouche's youth movement or seen them on the videos on larouchepac.com knows they are a very ethnically diverse group, and that they are not only highly intelligent, but having great fun fighting to save this collapsing civilization of ours, and fighting to create a cultural renaissance.
Throughout human history, the few leaders who have shown true independence and courage, and refused to be creatures of popular culture and popular opinion, have been slandered and misunderstood.
As for Jeremy Duggan, it is a terrible tragedy that he took his own life, but to blame it on LaRouche is insanely false and totally politically motivated! The kid had a history of depression, prescription drug use, and psychological problems-due in some part to his parents' divorce. His mother knows that, but she was manipulated into defaming and blaming LaRouche by Baroness Liz Symons, a friend of Lyn Cheney, the wife of former VP Dirty Dick Cheney.
Anyways, according to you the (in previous posts concerning the unemployed), unwashed masses are unwashed due to their own behavior. Additionally, I think it's just you and one or two other people that feel so inadequate as you let on.
