Germans trace Hezbollah coke smuggling profits

German investigators are uncovering the drug-smuggling business of the Syrian-backed Lebanese militant organisation Hezbollah, moving cocaine from Beirut into Europe via Frankfurt airport.

A further €500,000 was found in the flat of one of the suspects, in the Rhineland Pfalz town of Speyer.
Two Lebanese men were arrested in October 2009 when customs officers and federal criminal police agents raided a house in Speyer.
The magazine says the suspicion is that family members have been regularly moving millions of euros raised in the European cocaine trade, via Frankfurt to Beirut. Those receiving the money in Lebanon are said to be members of a family with contacts with the highest levels of Hezbollah command including leader Hassan Nasrallah.
A close relation of the suspects has rejected all the allegations, the magazine reported.

Noticing a pattern here, you just want to put a bullet in everyone it seems. Nice and constructive.
I assume I should learn about god from you then?
I would agree that the actions taken by Israel, specifically the continuation of the settlement building in occupied territory and the lockdown of access to Gaza, have not made peace more likely in the area.
However, to suggest that everything was peaceful in Palestine before the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948 is pure BS. That area has never been peaceful, for the same reasons that are cited in the Bible. They're still fighting the same fight that is chronicled in the Old Testiment, and until both sides are willing to get over that, a lasting peace is impossible.

Anyway, if you really consider yourself fair, just look at what Israel is doing to Palestinians. youtube it or liveleak.com it. Once you see the full picture, i bet you will have no compasion for the Israeli government. They're cruel in its purest form. The amount of 'bad' that Hezbollah or Hamas do put together does not equal BY FAR to what Israel is doing to Gaza.
It is no longer drug cartels and mafia types at the top of the drug production networks. Drug production and distribution, for hard drugs, ie. Cocaine and Heroin, are STATE RUN ORGANIZATIONS. The Governments of Venezuela and Bolivia are responsible for nearly 95% the cocaine manufactured in the world. Wake up! The media does not report on this!
