Someone correct me if I am wrong but didn't the CIA snag someone off the streets somewhere in Italy? If memory serves me a few individuals were convicted (in absentia). So the CIA certainly has the ability to conduct such a covert mission. I am a Veteran Military Engineer, very familiar with explosives. My dauther, who was in lower Manhattan attending the New School when the first tower was hit called me on her cell phone to ask me what to do. As she was speaking to me the second plane hit the other tower. I told her to come home immediately. She made it to Brooklyn before they closed down Manhattan. Some of her frightened friends came up with her and arrived at our home. The first thing she asked me was who did this and why. I told her immediately that other friends and I came to the same conclusion that the destruction of Tower 1 and 2 and Building 7 , and the destruction of all of the other Silverstein buildings was an Anglo-American Israeli operation. While I waited for her I watched the collaspe by demolitions over and over again. No tall standing steel buildings, anywhere, have ever failed due to fire. Jet fuel does not burn hot enough to melt steel. I had also visited the twin towers a few years before. I could go on and on about Madrid, London and New York. The Large Kahoona (above post) is right on the money. Critical and analytical reasoning is what leads us to reality and a real honest view of the world as it is. The real enemy is our own Governments of the International Syndicate.

You're not the first to ask these questions or raise these points but somehow you never get heard. Fast forward to the present. After it was established that the full body scanners at Schipol would NOT have caught the Christmas Day Bomber, airports around the world are still racing to install them. I wonder if there's a journalist out there who'll actually do some investigative reporting. Who makes these scanners? How many companies? What are the links between them? Who are the shareholders?

A guy called Mark LeVine from Lund University, Sweden wrote an article called "The $30b pair of underpants". In it he says that the cost of beefing up security in the wake of that attempt is going to be in the tens of billions. LeVine's perspective is that this is actually a great success for Al-Qaeda, tying up everybody else's resources in this way. But the questions that come to me are: who will spend the money (easy - taxpayers, the ordinary joe) and more interestingly who is getting all that money? There's you're real motive right there.

Suicide is absolutely forbidden in Islam as it is in many other religions. The concept of martyrdom applied if you died in a defensive fight, say if you were being oppressed and if, pay attention, if you died directly at the hand of an enemy. Murdering innocents or non-combattants is also a no-no and there are plenty of injunctions against it. So suicide leading to martyrdom and 72 virgins blah blah blah is total hogwash in terms of the religion but sadly I do believe there are those manipulative enough to distort this and even sadder, those gullible enough to believe it.

Footnote. Suicide attacks were actually made "popular" by the Tamil Tigers in Sri Lanka. They have the bloodiest and most ruthless record in history, not the arabs or islamists.

Yes, the latest blunder by so-called "law-enforcement" has led to a diplomatic row between Ireland and Slovakia. Apparently, the Slovakian police placed explosives in the suitcase of an unwitting passenger travelling to Dublin from an airport in eastern Slovakia on Friday last, January 1, as a "test" of their own airport security which failed to detect the planted item and the passenger got on the plane and travelled to Dublin. As is normal throughout Europe, there is no security check on arriving passengers except Customs and Immigration but in the case of nationals of EU countries there is no check.

The man returned to his flat in Dublin where he works as an electrician. The Irish authorities were only informed on Tuesday of the possibility of risk by the Slovakians and then the Irish police traced the individual, still unaware of the outrageous abuse imposed on him and his fellow passengers by the delinquent and reckless actions of the Slovakians to a building in the centre of Dublin not far from O'Connell Street. The building, entire street and several side streets had to be evacuated of residents and business people while the Irish Army Bomb Disposal dealt with the explosives. Irish police(Garda) do not handle explosives.
