Coaches Joachim Löw and Hans-Dieter Flick on the sidelines. Löw has an extensive coaching history and has secured a place in the hearts of the German people by turning the German game from a static defensive style to a more exciting and fast-paced attacking style which has proven far more successful. The 50-year-old didn't have the most illustrious footballing career as a player, but his technical understanding and meticulous game planning and analysis have made him a popular leader.
