Germany's Green party celebrates its 30th anniversary
Around 100 members of the Green party, including Joschka Fischer (right next to the sign “No Nukes”) block US-military property in Frankfurt district Hausen on 24-10-1983. According to their sources, this area was designated for mount of Pershing II missiles. At first the Hessian Greens held raging street marches against nuclear power plants, atomic missiles and the West airstrip. Since then, the party has distinguished itself with solid work in parliament.
