German children's charity Kinderhilfswerk created a fictional app called "helicopter parents" which mocked overprotective mums and dads. It tells you in advance if a playground is "educationally suitable", measures the temperature of the sandpit, automatically phones authorities if there's a risk your child might get a chill, and warns you when other kids are nearby who might "damage the social development" of your little one.
