Morrissey concert cut short as fans storm stage
British singer Morrissey brought his concert to an early close in Essen on Monday night after several fans stormed the stage.
The Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung reported that around six people from the audience at the Colosseum forced their way onto the stage and had to be subdued by security and crew.
Although no-one was hurt, Morrissey and his five-man group left the scene immediately.

Fans had ignored the seating arrangements in the hall from the moment the concert started, shoving their way to the front to get as close to their idol as possible.
"We can be happy that he even showed up despite his cancer diagnosis," one fan wrote on Facebook.
"We just have to be ashamed of a few idiots."
