The Bundesliga's ten biggest bucks
After Bayern Munich and Dortmund bestrode Europe like a colossus in the 2012-13 season, the market value of the top Bundesliga footballers has soared. We count down the league's costliest players.
Predictably enough, the Champions League finalists make up the entire top ten list, according to the expert estimates determined by the online portal transfermarkt.de. Perhaps even less surprisingly all but two of the players in the top ten are Bayern players.

The red Bavarian juggernaut powered to three titles last season, wrapping up the Bundesliga with a record-breaking six games to spare, and then winning the Champions League against their old rivals Borussia Dortmund, before dismissing Stuttgart in the German Cup Final.
But it was a Dortmund player - Robert Lewandowski - whose market value leapt the most over the past season, partly by virtue of putting four past Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-final. It remains to be seen whether he will leave the Rhineland club in the summer.
